Meet up:
I require two or more meet up sessions to meet with you/the family and to get to know your pet(s) in advance to your departure. This is where most information will be spoken about and shown around to know where all the animals things are that I’ll be needing. A contract will be handed over and should be completed before the time of services take place so I can understand your pets routines and any important information. Any first aid treatments must be handed over in detail and shown how to do this correctly. I am fully trained for Canine First Aid. Any medications that need to be given on a daily basis must be shown and written down in detail.

If your pet is blind or deaf, again do let me know so I can help accommodate.

Contract:
I written contract will be given to you when we first meet up. Please fill these in with as much information about your pets as possible. Feel free to add any additional information to another page. The more information, the smoother the walk or pet sit.

Daily photos of your pet(s) will be sent to you so you know what they’re up to in their day, as well as giving you peace of mind. Photos can be uploaded onto my business social media page with consent. If you would like them not to be posted, please let me know.
DOG WALKING
Aggressive/Anxious Animals:
Please let me know in detail about how your pet reacts in certain situations, what they are/aren’t comfortable with, boundaries and training methods to protect myself/your pet and keep your pet happy and stress free. If your dog wears a muzzle, I need to know in writing what triggers them and what to steer clear of. I will not be held liable for any dog fights if information/equipment is not given correctly. If your dog is known to start fights or becoming aggressive to public or other animals on a walk, please provide correct equipment such as a muzzle. If this is not available, I will not walk your dog for the publics, my own and your dogs safety.

Identification:
I ask all dogs that’ll be walked in my care to have proper identification if taken to an emergency vet centre or ran away in an incident. I am not held liable for wrong information such as wrong chipping details or dog tags.

Off Lead Dog Walks:
If your dog is comfortable with being off lead and is well trained with good recall I am more than happy to give them this freedom. If they don’t have good recall and can sometimes be aggressive towards the public or other animals, a long line will be placed on the dog instead or they will stay on the lead provided.

Treats and hydration:
I have treat of my own, little chicken, lamb and beef bones. If you’d rather your dog not have these please let me know. I also have a travel dog bottle for frequent water breaks when out.
